The Gilligans - Snoring With An Accent - 2007

Guitarist/Songwriter/IPO mainstay Todd Borsch from The Ringles along with indie pop Tunesmith/Bassist Bill Retoff & Vocalist Dan McKenzie from The Porcupines and former Billy Blastoff /RMBP Drummerboy Ed Pierce have joined forces to WOW the masses with their catchy, crunchy, rockin' tunes and smart fashion sense in regards to casual footwear.. Ladies & Gentleman, presenting The Gilligans! Having dedicated the calendar year of 2006 to writing / arranging / recording as a band (remember those?) our heroes have just released a new 10 song opus: Snoring With An Accent. A joint release of Maize Records and Ear Theory Recordings, these new tracks find the group completely and purposely ignoring current trends, all the while embracing such descriptors as DIY, garage, and (hopefully) Beatlesque. Think: Vox amps turned up just a bit too loud while the sounds of classic British Invasion, American Power Pop, and a dash of Glammy Bubblegum all simmer together in the pot. -CD Baby
